8Dio Aura Guitars for Kontakt (VST/AU/AAX) is the ultimate collection of deep-sampled motion picture guitars.  Aura Guitars contains 12 different guitars, including Martin, 12 String, Dobro, Mandolin, Ukulele, 8 String Schecter, Silent Guitar, Stratocaster, Telecaster, Les Paul and assortment of Bass Guitars. It contains both multi-sampled single notes and multi-sampled chords. All the chords were sampled in perfect fifth, so you can essentially generate any chord and rhythm you want. All 12 guitars were sampled symmetrically – meaning that you can freely blend anything you want and it will work together. So you literally have billion of patch combinations.

Aura Guitars contains 3 modules, so you can freely mix and blend up to three different guitars together. The collection spans over 9GB of content (lossless compressed from 17GB) and several thousand auras. Aura Guitars also contains an advanced grid-sequencer, which allows you to completely create your own signature rhythms by using velocity, pan, pitch and on/off functions for each step in the Aura. All the guitars were also multi-sampled, so when you play chords you can freely mix between muted/non-tonal strums and glide into rich, open chords by using the modwheel. In addition we also multi-sampled the single notes, so you can create more realistic sounding guitar rhythms.

Aura Guitars is designed for instant gratification. It is insanely easy to use and get inspired – and it also allows you to go incredibly deep and even into the realm of chaos. We created chaos features both both patches, grid-sequencing and FX. So with one click the library can generate a completely new patch – with one click it can generate a completely new grid-sequence and with one click it can randomize all the FX. In essence you have an infinite amount of combinations and it just makes the library a true inspiration to work with.

12 Different Guitars

Aura Guitars contains a staggering amount of motion picturesque Guitars. We deep-sampled 12 different ones, including Martin Guitar, 12-String Guitar, American Dobro, Mandolin, Ukulele, 8-String Schecter, Bass Guitars, Silent Guitar, Stratocaster, Telecaster and Les Paul. Everything was sampled symmetrically, so you can freely blend several guitars together. All guitars were sampled with chords (perfect 5th) and single notes, so you can virtually create anything you want.

Grid-Sequencing

The Grid-Sequencer in Aura Guitars allows you to virtually sculpt any rhythm you want. The step-based sequencer allows you to trigger each note in the Aura sequence – turn it on/off, adjust its velocity, pan and pitch. In addition you can control how much gate you want on the sound from full open and acoustic to ultra-tight synthetic. We also created an insanely easy to use chaos randomizer, which will create random grid-sequences with a single click. Its all about ease of use. One click away from inspiration.

Single Notes & Chords

Aura Guitars contains both chords (all sampled in perfect 5th) and single notes. The mixture between chords and single notes allows you to virtually create any chord you want and fully control the aura. The chords were sampled both muted and open, so you can control whether you want a non-tonal strum or freely open up the chord by using your modwheel. The single notes were multi-sampled for more realistic sound. All 12 instruments were recorded identical and you can blend up to 3 ones at any time.

Insane Chaos Randomizer

Aura Guitars contains 3 Modules that each contain a full instance of the library. This allows you to have three instruments of your choice playing at the same time. The Chaos Function allows you to randomize any/all of these modules with a single click. You can either randomize what part of the Aura sequence you want on/off, velocity, pan, pitch and gate amount. We also created a randomized for patches, so the library can instantly generate a new random patch for you – with a single click.

Chaos FX 3.2

Aura Guitars allows you to both randomize patches and all aspects of our grid-sequencer, however we also created a new version of our industry standard Chaos FX 3.2 system. The FX contains Filters, EQ, Degrader, Bit-Crusher, Distortion, Stereo Delay, FX Convolution Reverb and Traditional Convolution Reverb. We also created the ability to generate complete new FX combinations with a single click. So you can create new patches with a single click and completely new FX with a single click!
