Each version of Midi Quest 12 now supports the latest Windows and Macintosh OS releases with 32 and 64-bit software. On Macintosh, the new Objective-C Cocoa interface is faster with enhanced drag and drop capabilities. Midi Quest’s Patch Zone has been both enhanced and expanded to include over 180,000 unique Patches. Midi Quest 12 adds over new 30 MIDI devices to its hardware support list and 100 of its existing instrument editors have been enhanced.

Midi Quest 12 Pro features significant enhancements. The new 64-bit AU plug-in allows Midi Quest to work with 64-bit DAWs such as Logic X.

Another first is AAX plug-in support. If Pro Tools is your DAW, you can now use Midi Quest to store SysEx directly in your projects, automatically transmit SysEx to your MIDI hardware when projects are opened, and add parameter automation for your MIDI hardware directly into each project.

Midi Quest 12 Pro also adds VST3 plug-in support to its already extensive capabilities. VST3’s unique design makes it the easiest plug-in format to use with MIDI hardware that has a large number of editable parameters. Like VST2, AU, and AAX, the VST3 plug-ins support SysEx storage, total recall, and parameter automation.
